Suddenly Susan returned for its 3rd season on September 21, 1998. We see Luis get married to a woman he met after a weekend in Las Vegas. The marriage is short lived when Susan breaks it to Luis that she is unfaithful. After heavy flirting from both parties we finally see Maddy and Luis get together. However their relationship is difficult due to her not wanting to commit and issues stemming from her childhood. Lastly the cast said goodbye to David Strickland during the memorial season finale. The actor sadly passed away during production of the season. His unexpected passing greatly affected the cast whom spoke about it during an episode of 20/20 the following year.
