31 years after appearing on Law & Order as a new actor things have come full circle for Nestor Carbonell who recently wrapped directing an episode of the series. He shared some behind-the-scenes photos with former Bates Motel alum Brooke Smith with the following message:

Just had the great privilege of directing @nbclawandorder – a particularly meaningful moment for me since it was the show that gave me my SAG card a gazillion years ago.
