On April 1st, Nestor & his Pulse co-star, Daniela Nieves visited the Univision studio for an interview with ¡Despierta América! They also gave an interview for the Telemundo network on En Casa Con Telemundo. Nestor wrapped up press for the series by appearing at the Miami screening that same night with fellow cast mates.

It was announced on Sunday that Nestor’s latest film, Motherland won runner-up/Honorable mention for a feature film at the Omaha Film Festival!

Netflix has unveiled the premiere date for its first English-language medical procedural, “Pulse.”
The drama series will debut on April 3. Netflix has also released first-look images from the series, which can be seen below.
“Pulse” was originally ordered to series in February 2024. The series stars Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Justina Machado, Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, and Daniela Nieves along with Néstor Carbonell, Jessica Rothe, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, and Arturo Del Puerto.
The official description for the series states:
“As a hurricane barrels towards Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Fitzgerald) is unexpectedly thrust into a promotion when beloved Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Woodell) is suspended. Amid the worsening storm and an onslaught of trauma cases, the hospital goes into lockdown, and Danny and Phillips must find a way to work together – even as the bombshell details of a complicated and illicit romance between them begin to spill out. The rest of the ER is left to process the fallout of their relationship while balancing their own challenges, both personal and professional, as they work under the pressure of life-or-death stakes. Yesterday, the Next on Netflix event was held where the upcoming schedule for this year was announced. While exact dates were not given, Nestor’s upcoming projects: RIP and Pulse are set to debut on the streaming platform in the fall (for the film, RIP), and spring.
