The American Film Institute (AFI) announced today the recipients of AFI AWARDS 2023. AFI AWARDS honorees include 10 outstanding motion pictures and 10 outstanding TV programs deemed culturally and artistically representative of this year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image.
‘The Morning Show,’ ‘Succession’ Lead 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards TV Nominations
With six nominations, “The Morning Show” received the most TV nods for the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards, including best drama series. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are both nominated in the best actress category, with Billy Crudup, Nicole Beharie and Karen Pittman also earning acting nods for their supporting roles.
FX’s ‘Shogun’ Sets February Premiere Date
FX has set the premiere date for the highly-anticipated series adaptation of “Shogun.”
The limited series will debut its first two episodes on Feb. 27, 2024, on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories. A new episode will drop each week on the streamers, and the FX linear channel will telecast new episodes once each week.
Based on James Clavell’s 1975 novel of the same name, “Shogun” is set in Japan in the year 1600 and follows Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada), who must fight for his life after his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him.
Manhood Promos & Trailer

The film was a sequel to his 2001 film Jack the Dog, which continued the story of the womanizing photographer who is now tasked with taking care of his sister’s son & dealing with his brother-in-law.
The Morning Show 3×10 Screencaps
The Season 3 Finale of The Morning Show aired last night and right out the gate we have Yanko in his first scene trying to convince Mia & everyone that they should walk out. Of all characters, it felt on point to have this come from him! Next, we saw him & Chris interview Chip as the whistleblower for what is going on behind the scenes with the Paul Marks merger. Last but not least we ended on a fun note as Yanko & Chris danced as part of an on-air dance week challenge, this was such a sweet end for Yanko this season. Definitely cannot wait to see what the future holds for him in Season 4.
