‘Pretty Little Liars’ Alum Sasha Pieterse To Topline MPCA Thriller ‘The Image Of You’; Nestor Carbonell, Mira Sorvino & More Also Set

EXCLUSIVE: Republic Pictures has snapped up rights to The Image of You, a recently wrapped thriller starring Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars) in dual roles. Pic is set for release via Paramount Global Content Distribution at a date that hasn’t been disclosed.

Parker Young (United States of Al), Nestor Carbonell (The Morning Show), Michele Nordin (Justified) and Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino (Shining Vale) also star in the film from MPCA (Double Life, Margaux) — an adaptation of the same-name novel from UK-based bestseller Adele Parks MBE, which Jeff Fisher (Killer Movie) directs from a script by Chris Sivertson (Monstrous).

The first project to emerge from a multi-picture deal between MPCA and Parks, The Image of You has Pieterse playing identical twins Anna and Zoe, who share a bond so close that nothing — and no one — can tear them apart. While Anna is romantic and trusting, her sister Zoe is daring and dangerous. When Anna meets charismatic Nick (Young), an ambitious stock trader, she thinks he’s perfect. But Zoe, who has seen Anna betrayed by men before, doesn’t trust him. She’s determined to discover the truth about Nick, no matter who stands in the way.

Sorvino and Carbonell play the twins’ wealthy parents, Alexia and David, who are harboring secrets of their own, with Nordin as Nick’s sister, Rebecca. Producers are MPCA CEO Brad Krevoy, David Wulf and Ernie Barbarash. MPCA’s Amanda Phillips, Lorenzo Nardini and Kaan Karahan are exec producing alongside AJ Riach.

‘Morning Show’ Reveals Premiere Date and First Look for Season 3

Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and the rest of the ‘TMS’ team return Sept. 13 after the pandemic-era second season that ended on a cliffhanger.

Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and the rest of the TMS team have picked up the pieces following the heavy pandemic-era cliffhanger broadcast the Apple series left off on.

The second season, which aired in November 2021, ended the show’s timeline in March of 2020 with the country on the cusp of lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic. When discussing possible projections around where The Morning Show could go following the finale, outgoing showrunner Kerry Ehhrin told THR at the time that she would be inclined to jump ahead, or even revisit the past, instead of picking up right where the show left off, indicating that the next chapter in the award-winning series would side-step COVID: “You could [jump into the future]. You could go backwards. It’s such an interesting little universe. You really can put it anywhere in time, and I think the challenge of the show is coming up with that big subject.”

Bandit Deleted Scenes Stills

Bandit Director, Allan Ungar has released a number of stills from various deleted scenes from the film. This was done in celebration of the film’s continued overseas release. ‘The Morning Show’ Snags Early Season 4 Renewal at Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is locking in another season of The Morning Show.

The tech behemoth’s streaming service has renewed The Morning Show for a fourth season. The early pickup comes several months ahead of season three for the Jennifer Aniston- and Reese Witherspoon-led drama, which is scheduled to premiere in the fall.

Season three of the show will feature new additions to the cast including Jon Hamm, playing a corporate titan with his sights on UBA and Nicole Beharie as a new anchor on the show. Julianna Marguiles will reprise her role, and Tig Notaro, Stephen Fry and Natalie Morales will all have recurring parts.

The show’s second season, which ran in fall 2021, was set a year-plus earlier than that, and its season finale showed Alex (Aniston) testing positive for COVID-19 in the early stages of the pandemic and anchoring the show from her home. As with the first season, the finale ended with a cut to a black screen.

Behind The Scenes: Nestor Directing Law & Order

31 years after appearing on Law & Order as a new actor things have come full circle for Nestor Carbonell who recently wrapped directing an episode of the series. He shared some behind-the-scenes photos with former Bates Motel alum Brooke Smith with the following message:
