Apple TV+ released a new trailer promoting its upcoming star-studded slate on Friday as part of the winter Television Critics Association press tour, and in a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, footage from the upcoming season of The Morning Show were sprinkled throughout the two-minute teaser.

In the opening seconds, the camera focuses in on Aniston’s Alex Levy as she sits across an unknown figure, looking as if she’s bracing for what’s coming. Another glimpse sees Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson leaning against the wall behind her with a distressed expression on her face as she lets out a deep sigh. There are also snapshots of Steve Carell’s disgraced host, Mitch Kessler, in a car en route to a destination yet unknown and Bradley “cheers”-ing at a fancy dinner party.

Joining Aniston, Witherspoon and Carell in season 2 is new addition Julianna Margulies, who will play Laura Peterson, anchor at UBA News, the umbrella division under which Alex and Bradley’s morning show is housed. Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj and Ruairi O’Connor are among the new cast members in the ensemble, which includes Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powell, Karen Pittman and Desean Terry.

“Tony Award winner Ali Stroker will be this this year’s gala honoree for the “Badass Woman of Inspiration Award”. Ali is the first person in a wheelchair to ever perform on the Broadway stage and won the Tony Award for the Best Performance by an Actress for a Featured Role in a Musical as Ado Annie in Oklahoma!

The Seasons of Love virtual event will include cameos and performances by Aimee Garcia, Amy Schumer, Andy Garcia, Bob Odenkirk, Brian Dietzen, DB Woodside, Danny Pino, Dmitry Chaplin, Garcelle Beauvais, Hank Azaria, Jenya Chaplin, JJ Feild, Jon Hamm, Kevin Pollak, Maria Canals-Barrera, Nestor Carbonell, Neve Campbell, Patrick Dempsey, Randy Thomas, Rob Benedict, Sherri Shepard, Steve Valentine and more!

Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration fosters a bias-free world for children with disabilities through the creation of inclusive playgrounds and educational programs that unite children of ALL abilities. This is even more important now during the COVID-19 crisis, as children with disabilities are the most vulnerable to social and physical isolation from their communities. This harmful exclusion in childhood can impact the trajectory of their lives.”

For the February site update we are throwing it back to one of Nestor’s most well known character: Batmanuel. A reference to the Dark Knight himself Batman, the character was conceived due to copyright issues concerning Die Fledermaus from the animated series. He was well known for bragging about his sexual conquests with many including Captain Liberty while rarely saving anyone that isn’t female. Even though the series was short-lived (running only 9 episodes, one of which was never aired on television), many remember Nestor for the role.

For the update I have added screencaps for all 9 episodes of the show as well as stills, and a behind the scene image from filming. In addition you can also view promotional photos of the cast, and their appearance at the 2000 Upfronts for the Fox Network where they appeared in costume. Lastly i’ve added a TV Guide segment Nestor did from the set of The Tick in 2000 where he answered a fan question.
