Last night the cast of The Morning Show attended a photocall to promote Season 2 which premieres on September 17th. Those in attendance included Nestor Carbonell, Reese Witherspoon, Karen Pittman, Desean Terry, new cast member Julianna Margulies, & more.

Apple TV Plus has updated their website with promotional stills for Season 2 of The Morning Show, one of the stills included Nestor with newcomer Ruairi O’Connor.
Redbox & Quiver Acquire Bandit
Redbox Entertainment, America’s destination for affordable new-release movies and Quiver Distribution, have acquired the North American distribution rights to BANDIT, starring Josh Duhamel, Elisha Cuthbert, Nestor Carbonell, and Mel Gibson. The film will be available in theaters and On Demand in 2022.
Nestor Carbonell Joins Josh Duhamel in Action Thriller ‘Bandit’
The Hollywood Reporter released the following article today about Néstor’s role in the upcoming Bandit movie:
Nestor Carbonell, who plays weatherman Yanko Flores the in buzzy series The Morning Show, has joined Mel Gibson and Josh Duhamel in Bandit, an action thriller being directed by Allan Ungar.
Elisha Cuthbert is also on the call sheet for the movie that is currently shooting in Georgia.
Bandit is based on the true story of Gilbert Galvan Jr, also known as The Flying Bandit, who successfully got away with 63 bank and jewelry heists during his notorious crime spree. Duhamel is playing the career criminal, who escaped an American prison and crossed into Canada, creating a new life for himself but who couldn’t stop his brazen robbing ways.
Cuthbert is playing the wife. Gibson is the gangster who offers the Bandit a loan.
Carbonell’s character is that of “brilliant Detective Snydes,” who leads the cross-country manhunt, according to the producers.
The Morning Show Season 2 Premiere Date
“Apple TV+ has released a new teaser video for Season 2 of The Morning Show, the Emmy-winning drama series starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, and Billy Crudup. The show returns on September 17th on the streaming platform.
Season 2 picks up after the explosive events of Season 1, following Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) decision to reveal their workplace’s injustices on air. The two hosts are now placed in the uncomfortable position of having to rebuild the show while dodging the pressures of higher-ups as well as the prodding eyes of the public.
Along with the returning cast of Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, and Marcia Gay Harden, Season 2 of The Morning Show introduces several new roles, including Greta Lee as tech magnate Stella Bak, Ruairi O’Connor as YouTube star Ty Fitzgerald, Hasan Minhaj as new Morning Show host Eric Nomani, Emmy Award-winning actress Holland Taylor as UBA board chairwoman Cybil Richards, Tara Karsian as news producer Gayle Berman, Valeria Golino as documentary filmmaker Paola Lambruschini, and Emmy and SAG Award-winning actress Julianna Margulies as UBA news anchor Laura Peterson.”

A full synopsis & teaser poster has been added to Gold Rust Entertainment’s website for their latest film production: Bandit. In a snippet from the site, we glean a little more information about Nestor’s character Detective John Snydes who is part of the task force responsible for apprehending the “Flying Bandit”
After escaping a Michigan prison, a daring career criminal assumes a new identity in Canada, marries the love of his life, then goes on to rob 59 banks and jewellery stores while a rogue task force sets out to take him down. Based on the incredible true story and best-selling novel The Flying Bandit.
